Brussels, Belgium

We traveled to Brussels to see a floral carpet that only happens every two years. It was a glorious sight, many different flowers arranged to look almost like a fancy playing card. It was located in front of the Royal Palace, a busy square with tons of people! We saw many statues, including the Manneken Pis, and drank Belgium beers! Royal played in the park and slept in his stroller a lot! I suppose being pushed around makes you tired too. Phillip and I both really liked Belgium and its only a few hours from home. I know we will have to visit Belgium again because I didn't get a waffle in the street and forgot to bring home the worlds best chocolate...

Cologne, GM

We had a great trip to Kohl. We visited the Dom Cathedral that took over 400 years to build, it was amazing. We took a cruise on the Rhine River, and didnt miss the boat, but we did miss our stop so we rode back and forth to where we started! It was funny anyways.

We had our first professional photo shoot in Kusel. We had a lot of fun and these are the photos we bought and have on a disc. The others we liked will be kept top secret until a later date.

Island life with the Dutch

We visited St Martin in the Netherland Antilles during the World Cup. It was so exciting to be with the Dutch watching the games even though the didn't win it all. Royal met both his grandpa's and his big sister Kira on this trip! It was great to have a big family vacation and we snuck in our friends Hunter and April from Cali too. We went scuba diving with sharks, snorkeling, swimming, sun bathing and ate lots of yummy seafood. It was paradise and we are so thankful we were able to take such a wonderful vacation.

The pool in our village is AWESOME! Water slides, fountains, and 4 pools! Germans know how to make a hallenbad. Royal liked that there was so much to see, and loved pulling on the grass. He was a little chilly in the pool but after he got used to the water he had fun. Daddy and Mommy took turns going down the big water slide and couldn't be happier with finding a gem right near our house.

Royal Visits the ZOO

We meet our friends Amanda and Leo at the zoo in Kaiserslatern today. We saw lions and tigers and monkeys oh my! Royal was really interested in watching what Leo could do and less entertained with the actual animals! After a great morning at the zoo mommy and Royal took a long nap.

Summer Vacation

School' s out and Royal and I are so happy to be home together. We are looking forward to walks in the village and hopefully some sunny weather to visit the local pool.
